Ethics Statement (updated for 2025)
Scientific fraud and misconduct are not condoned at any level of research or competition. This includes: plagiarism; forgery; fabrication or falsification of data; unattributed use of other works; use of other researcher's work without permission; and the presentation of other researcher’s work as one’s own. Fraudulent projects will fail to qualify for competition in affiliated fairs and ISEF, as will projects with incomplete or missing ISEF-required documentation. Santa Cruz County STEAM Expo reserves the right to revoke recognition of a project subsequently found to have been fraudulent.
